At Scented Soy, every candle is made with care and intention. What started as a passion for candles quickly turned into a journey of creating something meaningful.

Founder Liz Faulkner-Crawford began making candles after deciding to pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. With a background in chemistry, she understood the science behind blending and formulating fragrances — which is why Scented Soy candles are known for their strong, lasting scent.

Today, every candle is still hand-poured using natural ingredients and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Hi, I’m Liz — the founder of Scented Soy.

I started making candles nearly five years ago after realizing I wanted to build something of my own. What began as a small passion project quickly grew into a real business.

Before launching Scented Soy, I spent the first 10 years of my career working as a chemical technician and chemist. That experience helped me master the science behind candle making and fragrance blending.

Today, Scented Soy operates from my studio in Temecula, where every candle is still handcrafted with care.

How long do your candles burn?

Our 7 oz candles typically burn for approximately 35–40 hours when burned properly.

Are your candles handmade?

Yes. Every candle is hand-poured in our studio using carefully selected ingredients, which means each candle may have slight natural variations.
